Ending a subscription
Cancelling and refunds
Where you cancel depends on where you bought. A subscription that runs through a store cannot be ended by us for technical reasons, so this page starts with how to tell which way is yours.
This is a translation for your convenience. The contract is governed by German law. In case of any difference, the binding version is the German one.

The button takes you straight to the place where your contract ends, which depending on how you bought is your subscriptions at Apple, at Google, or the payment provider's management page. Where exactly that is follows from your purchase and not from us.
If you are not signed in, or if there is no active subscription, the button stays hidden. The routes are then described step by step below.
First
Where did you buy?
Your purchase confirmation helps: an invoice from Apple or Google means the contract is with that store.
- Invoice from Apple
- Section 1
- Invoice from Google
- Section 2
- Invoice from us
- Section 3
Section 1
Subscription in the Apple App Store
The contract for the paid service is with Apple. Cancellation happens solely in your Apple settings:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Choose Subscriptions.
- Select StockLife and tap Cancel Subscription.
The subscription then runs on until the end of the period already paid for. You request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple decides on it.
Section 2
Subscription on Google Play
The contract for the paid service is with Google. Cancellation happens in Google Play:
- Open Google Play and tap your profile picture.
- Choose Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select StockLife and tap Cancel subscription.
Here too the subscription runs on until the end of the paid period. You request a refund in Google Play under Order history, and Google decides on it.
Section 3
Subscription taken out directly through this website
If you contracted with us directly, you can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. No reason is required, and no notice period applies beyond the end of that period.
Send an informal message to support@stocklife.io. So that we can match the cancellation to your account, please give the email address of your account and, if you have it to hand, the invoice number. We will confirm receipt, timing and effect of the cancellation in text form.
Within the first fourteen days after the contract was concluded, withdrawal is the better route than cancellation: it ends the contract retroactively and leads to a refund.
After cancelling
What stays and what goes
Once the subscription ends, the free features remain usable exactly as before. The watchlist and the portfolio journal sit on your device and are untouched by the cancellation.
If you also want to delete your account, that is a separate step: it first removes every vault object and then the account at the sign in service. Local data on other devices has to be deleted there separately.
