End a subscription
Cancelling and refunds
How to end an existing StockLife subscription, depending on where you took it out. Convenience translation; the German version is binding.
Where you cancel depends on where you bought. We are technically unable to end a subscription that runs through a store. That is why this page first explains how to recognise the right route.
Where did you buy?
Your purchase confirmation tells you: an invoice from Apple or Google means the contract is with that store. An invoice that came through our payment provider Creem means you subscribed directly with us.
Subscription in the Apple App Store
The contract for the paid service is with Apple. You cancel exclusively in your Apple settings:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Choose “Subscriptions”.
- Select StockLife and tap “Cancel Subscription”.
The subscription then continues until the end of the period already paid for. You request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; Apple decides on the refund.
Subscription on Google Play
The contract for the paid service is with Google. You cancel in Google Play:
- Open Google Play and tap your profile picture.
- Choose “Payments and subscriptions”, then “Subscriptions”.
- Select StockLife and tap “Cancel subscription”.
Here too, the subscription continues until the end of the paid period. You request a refund in Google Play under “Order history”; Google decides on the refund.
Subscription directly on this website
If you subscribed directly with us, you may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. No reason is required, and there is no notice period beyond the end of the period.
To do so, send an informal message to support@stocklife.io. So that we can match the cancellation, please state the email address you paid with and, if you have it to hand, the invoice number. We confirm receipt, time and effect of the cancellation in text form.
Within the first fourteen days after the contract was concluded, withdrawal is the more favourable route instead of cancellation: it ends the contract retroactively and leads to a refund.
