StockLife documentation
How StockLife works, from your first sign-in to your invoices. Every page here describes what the product does today.
What StockLife is
StockLife is a workspace for looking at listed companies. You get a chart, the figures a company reported, what analysts expect from it, and the filings those numbers were read from.
There are two products. StockLife Terminal is for looking at companies. StockLife Portfolio is for keeping track of what you own. One account opens both, and access is recorded for each product separately.
Note The terminal is live and you can sign in. New subscriptions are paused, so checkout cannot take a payment yet. The roadmap carries this as the step being worked on.
How to read these pages
This documentation is written for the people who use StockLife. It contains no code, and it assumes nothing about what you know.
Every page describes what the product does today. Where something is planned but not built, the page says so in those words. Where a number appears, it is read out of the product rather than typed into the text, which is why no price is written here. Prices live on the pricing section and in checkout.
The documentation is English only for now. Every other page of this website is available in 32 languages.
Where to start
What is in each group
| Group | Covers |
|---|---|
| Getting started | What you need, your first sign-in, your account, and every setting in the terminal. |
| The terminal | The ten screens, a company page tab by tab, watchlists, the stock finder, the assistant and the keyboard. |
| Data | Where each figure comes from, how old a price can be, and what every key figure means. |
| Plans and payment | The three plans, the trial, invoices, changing or ending a plan, and the referral programme. |
| Portfolio | The second product, and which parts of it exist today. |
| Around the product | This website, the calculators, the status page and your privacy choices. |
| Help | What a message means when something fails, and how to reach a person. |
StockLife is not investment advice
StockLife shows data and helps you read it. It does not recommend a buy or a sell, and neither does the assistant. The decisions stay with you, and clause 3 of the terms says the same.
Tell us when a page is wrong
If a page here does not match what you see in the product, write to support@stocklife.io. Name the page and what differs. A page that is wrong is a bug, and it gets fixed like one.
