Watchlists
Your own lists of companies, saved to your account and the same on every device you sign in on.
What a watchlist is
A watchlist is a named list of companies. You can keep several, one per theme or per idea, and each shows the price and the change on the day for every company in it.
Lists belong to your account, not to the browser you made them in. Sign in on another device and the same lists are there.
Work with a list
- Open them. Press G and then W, or choose Watchlist in the dock.
- Add a company. From the company page, or from a result in the stock finder.
- Keep one in view. A sidebar shows the list you are working with while you look at a company.
- Hold it against the market. Up to three benchmarks can be drawn next to a list.
- Take it with you. A CSV export writes the list with every cell quoted.
Plan limits
These are the numbers the server enforces.
| Plan | Watchlists | Symbols per list |
|---|---|---|
| No running subscription | 3 | 32 |
| Essential | 12 | 64 |
| Pro | 12 | 64 |
| Elite | 12 | 64 |
The three paid plans hold the same number of lists. What grows with a paid plan is the assistant and the number of saved searches, which Plans sets out.
When a list is full
The save is refused and the terminal names the limit it hit. The lists on your device are left exactly as they were, so nothing you typed is lost. Delete a list or remove a symbol, then save again.
Note A downgrade never deletes anything. Lists above the allowance of your new plan stay readable and editable, they can only get smaller, and only the next addition past the limit is refused.
When two devices disagree
If the same lists changed somewhere else, the terminal says the change could not be confirmed and does not overwrite the other version. Press Check again to load the saved one and compare. Your draft stays until you decide, and you can discard it.
Renaming a list that is over the limit
A list is matched by its name when the allowance is checked. A renamed list that is already above the limit counts as a new one, so trim it to the limit before you rename it.
