Getting help

One mailbox, read by a person. This page says what to write so the first answer is the useful one.

Write to us

One address, support@stocklife.io, and a person reads every message. There is no ticket number to quote and no form to fill in.

The footer of every page carries the same address. In the terminal, Help and contact in Settings opens your email program with it. The terminal does not send the message for you.

What to put in the message

  • The email address you signed in with, or your account reference from Settings.
  • What you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
  • The screen you were on, and the company or ticker if it was about one.
  • The message you got, word for word if you still have it.
  • For a question about money, the invoice number, or the date of the payment.

Caution Never send a password or a card number. Nobody at StockLife needs either. Your password belongs to the sign-in service and your card to the payment provider.

Faster than a mail

  • The status page, if something is not loading at all.
  • When something does not work, which covers the messages the product can show you.
  • The connection check in Settings, which says whether your device reaches the terminal gateway.
  • Cancelling, which takes a few clicks in the terminal and needs no mail.
  • The changelog, if something looks different from yesterday.

Ask for a feature

  • The feedback board in the terminal, under Community. Problem reports go to the same review queue.
  • A mail that says which item on the roadmap you need first. The order of that list is not fixed, and this is how it moves.

Use email rather than the board for anything private about your account.
