Changing or ending a plan

Upgrades, downgrades, cancellation and the fourteen days in which you can withdraw instead.

Move to a higher plan

  1. Open Settings and then Plan & billing.
  2. Choose the plan you want.
  3. Read the note under the button, then press Confirm plan change.

Nothing is charged on the day you change, and the period you have already paid for keeps its price. The new plan starts with your next invoice, and your monthly assistant credits change then.

Caution By confirming an upgrade you ask for that start and accept that your fourteen day right of withdrawal ends with it. The note on the button says so before you press it.

There is no pro rata charge in either direction. If you need credits today, a credit pack is the thing that adds them today.

Move to a lower plan

  1. Open Settings and then Plan & billing.
  2. Choose the smaller plan.
  3. Press Confirm downgrade.

You keep your current plan and everything in it until the end of the period you paid for. From that invoice on you are on the lower plan, and nothing is charged on the day you change.

While the change is still waiting you can take it back by choosing your current plan again. That costs nothing.

Note A downgrade never deletes stored data. Lists and saved searches above the new allowance stay readable and editable, they can only shrink, and only the next addition past the limit is refused.

Cancel a subscription

  1. Open Settings and then Plan & billing.
  2. Press Cancel subscription.
  3. Tick a reason if you want to. It is optional, it is sent nowhere and it changes nothing.
  4. Press Confirm cancellation.

The card then shows the cancellation and the date your access ends. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing is charged after that. A monthly and a yearly subscription behave the same way, because a cancellation is scheduled for the end of the paid period in both cases.

To cancel by mail instead, write to support@stocklife.io. No particular form and no reason are needed. Give the email address you paid with, and the invoice number if you have it. We confirm receipt, time and effect in text form.

If you change your mind, Resume plan on the billing card takes you to the provider portal.

Withdraw within fourteen days

Within fourteen days of taking out the contract, withdrawal is better for you than cancellation. It ends the contract from the beginning and the fee is refunded, where a cancellation only ends it at the end of the paid period.

One exception applies, and it is the one you confirm yourself: a service you expressly asked to start at once, having acknowledged that your right of withdrawal ends with it. That covers a move to a higher plan and a credit pack.

The binding text is the German Widerrufsbelehrung, with an English reading version. The cancellation page covers both routes in legal terms.

Refunds

A cancellation does not ask for a refund. It ends the subscription at the end of the paid period, and you keep what you paid for until then. A refund belongs to the withdrawal above, or to a case you write to us about.

What happens to your data

Nothing. A cancellation ends the subscription and leaves the account, with your lists and your settings. Deleting the account is a separate step, described under Your account.
