The 7 day trial
Seven days on a yearly plan, with your card on file and nothing charged on the first day.
How the trial works
The trial belongs to the yearly plans. A monthly plan has no trial and is paid at checkout.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | You pick a yearly plan and go through checkout at the payment provider. You enter a payment method, and the amount due today is zero. |
| Days 1 to 7 | You have the plan you chose, with everything in it. |
| Day 8 | The yearly price is charged, unless you cancelled before then. |
Note Before you confirm anything, the sentence under the button names the amount and the exact date of the first payment.
End the trial in time
To stop the payment:
- Open Settings and then Plan & billing before the seventh day.
- Press Cancel subscription and confirm.
The subscription ends with the trial and nothing is charged. A mail to support@stocklife.io counts as well. Name the email address you signed in with, so it can be matched to your account.
The mails you get
| When | What it says | Always sent |
|---|---|---|
| At the start | What the trial is, three things to try first, the day it ends, the yearly price, the date of the first payment and the way to cancel. | Yes |
| Day 3 | The Beta Circle, and how to suggest a feature. | Only with the tips switch on |
| Two days before the payment | The amount, the date and how to cancel before it. | Yes |
The first and the last are owed to you, so they arrive whatever you chose about tips. Every message carries a link that stops the optional ones, and the switch is under Settings. Messages are sent through Resend, in the EU, as our processor.
Nothing is sent if no verified email address is known for the account, or if a previous message bounced or was reported as spam.
One trial per account
An account gets the seven days once. If it has already had a trial, a yearly checkout says so and points you to a monthly plan instead, because every yearly plan starts with a trial. A minimal marker of that stays even if you delete the account.
Trials that started before 23 October 2026
Those ran without a payment method. They end by themselves, nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel.
Status today
Checkout cannot take a payment, so a trial cannot be started either. What is written above is how it is built and what the terms promise.
